Tournament - November 7th
Time : Qualifying - Can take place anytime at Center Valley Club by anyone who pays the one time $30 tournament fee and has a USGA handicap. You must notify the golf shop prior to qualifying each time.
Tournament - 9:00 Shotgun Start.
Cost: Qualifying - One time qualifying fee of $30
(This is a tournament-qualifying fee. This does not take the place of the green fee at the time of qualifying).
Tournament – There is no green fee or cart fee on the day of the Shootout.
Format: Qualifying – Each time you qualify for a spot in the tournament, you will use your current USGA handicap index converted to the Oak Tees at Center Valley Club. Using your full course handicap, play the Oak Course and record your gross score. At the conclusion of the 18-hole round, hand in your card to the golf shop, signed, dated and attested. Your full handicap will be subtracted from your gross score to record your net score. A chart will be posted at the score posting station in the golf shop as well as in the men’s locker room.
You can qualify as many times as you want for the one time fee of $30.
At the end of day on November 1st, the low 19 scoring golfers will have qualified for the Net Shootout.
Tournament – At 9:00AM on Saturday, November 7th, the low 19 qualifiers will tee off using their current full course handicap for the Oak Course. At the conclusion of the first hole played, the golfer with the highest net score will be eliminated. This format will continue until there is a winner at the finish of the last hole. In the event of a tie for highest net score on any given hole, a chip-off will determine the loser of the hole.
Prizes: The purse for the event is directly determined by the number of golfers attempting to qualify. There is no limit to the number of golfers who attempt to qualify for the Shootout.
